Instruction for Poster Data Blitz presentation
Your presentation Selected poster presenters will be given 3 minutes as an oral presentation to advertise their work and entice delegates to visit their poster presentation. This type of presentation will offer a fast paced overview of some of the most exciting research presented at this year’s poster sessions.
The goal of the Data Blitz presentation should not be to present complete data, but to advertise one’s work and to entice delegates to visit their poster presentation for further discussions. Given the strict time limitation for the Data Blitz, presenters should prepare no more than three PowerPoint slides. Therefore, some presenters may either select one major result of their study or some may elect to introduce their study and methods only, and encourage others to visit their poster to discover and discuss the results.
Please bring your presentation on a USB stick and set the aspect ratio of your PowerPoint at 16:9. They can be uploaded by the on-site technicians in the speaker slide center. A pointer is available.
Disclosure slide In compliance with the EACCME (European accreditation) requirements, all speakers are requested to include a disclosure slide at the beginning of their presentation. In this slide, you can mention whether you have a potential conflict of interest to report and explain how it has been resolved. Please click here for an example of a disclosure slide.
A conflict of interest is any situation in which a speaker or immediate family members have interests, and those may cause a conflict with the current presentation. Conflicts of interest do not preclude the delivery of the talk, but should be explicitly declared. These may include financial interests (eg. owning stocks of a related company, having received honoraria, consultancy fees), research interests (research support by grants or otherwise), organizational interests and gifts. If you have nothing to disclose, please state “I have no commercial disclosure” instead of the table.
